I just got a new DSLR for Christmas and was very impressed with this magazine. It helped out a lot because it provided tons of great information that I had been having questions about. Its well laid out, has some great product reviews, interviews, and tutorials. Im relatively new at this and this magazine will definitely help me to become a better photographer but its got great content for all levels of ability. Its amazing that a magazine of this quality is free!
Some bad moments
I love how they use the audio, video and 3d graphic to bring more info to the reader. So easy to navigate the magazine. Great article for photographers.
A perfect example of what a magazine should be on the iPad! Beautiful photography with video clips & audio interviews mixed in. The articles are informative and easy to understand, even for a beginner photographer like myself.
Tried to download the latest issue multiple time without success. The download button keeps changing back to download once I select it and the issue fails to show up.
Beautifully laid out, easy to navigate with great layover text. The voiceover is a nice touch and its easy to turn it off. The content is highly relevant and is illustrated by well shot professional photos. The ads are beautiful.
Update for the new version: downloaded without any issue, in fact it was super speedy. The new price point is awesome, the content is even better than the last time around, that puts the value proposition somewhere in the neighborhood of infinity! Do not hesitate if you love photography as I do.
This app makes my life so much better. It’s simple to follow, insanely useful, and really well done. Must read for anyone who enjoys photography.
